Lars Anders is the CEO of Priedemann Façade Experts and Façade-Lab Research & Development Center, which accomplishes tasks relating to the façade or building envelope. In this role, He manages and leads along with his managing partners, a team providing all services in façade planning, consulting, and engineering as well as other project-related assignments like product research and functional development.

Lars is a seasoned engineer and holds a degree in Civil Engineering (University of Applied Sciences, Berlin 1985). Inspired by building skins and their limitless possibilities, Priedemann provides interdisciplinary services to investors, developers, architects, consultants, main contractors, and fabricators, which have enabled them to achieve higher levels of efficiency, quality, and cost certainty in the development and execution of their façade projects.

Necdet Bahadır Buluk is the founder of Façade Design Factory (FDF), a leading firm specializing in facade consultancy and engineering services. As master degree, he studied International Facade Design and Construction in HOWL (University of Applied Science Detmold) and qualified as MSc Facade Engineer by graduating in 2015. Nicola graduated from IUAV, Venice, in 2005 and joined the practice in the same year initially working on the award-winning Jameson House Tower in Vancouver. He has designed buildings in 15 different countries and he has won several prestigious design competitions. His approach, sensitive to location and culture, harnesses the skills, enthusiasm and knowledge of integrated design teams, clients and communities to create inspirational environments.

Mustafa Alkan is general manager of Werner Sobek’s Istanbul office. Born in the south-west of Germany, he studied Structural Engineering at the University of Karlsruhe and Façade Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Augsburg. Having accomplished his diploma, Mustafa started working at Werner Sobek Frankfurt in 2007. In 2010 he was appointed general manager of a newly established branch office in Turkey. Mustafa Alkan is a specialist of façade and high-rise structures. He has extensive experience in major construction projects such as the Bomonti Tower in Istanbul, the Garanti Technology Campus in Istanbul, and the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku.

Since he joined ZHA in 2007, Victor has worked on a broad range of competitions which include the New Passenger Terminal and Masterplan, Zagreb Airport Croatia; the Sunrise Tower, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia and the CBD Soho Masterplan in Beijing China. He has also been part of the team that designed Morpheus Hotel at City of Dreams, Macau and has been the Project Architect for the Central Bank of Iraq and Vauxhall Cross.

He graduated from Istanbul University with a degree in Civil Engineering in 2014 and completed a minor in Landscape Architecture, which broadened his perspective beyond structural performance and strengthened his sensitivity to architectural quality, aesthetics, and design intent. This interdisciplinary background has been particularly valuable in façade projects requiring a careful balance between engineering and architectural expression.

Since graduation, he has worked exclusively in the façade sector, holding roles including Site Engineer, Project Engineer, Project Manager, and Team Leader. He has contributed to a wide range of domestic and international projects, gaining experience across the full lifecycle of façade systems—from concept design and structural calculations to detailing, testing, manufacturing coordination, and on-site installation.

For the past 4.5 years, he has been a Project Manager at Werner Sobek Istanbul, delivering façade engineering and consultancy services for projects across Europe, Türkiye, and the Middle East.

Oğuz Han Akça is a façade engineer at Mimsa Aluminium with experience in façade estimating, technical design development, and project coordination for international projects involving aluminium and steel façade systems.

He graduated from Middle East Technical University with a degree in Civil Engineering in 2017. Since graduation, he has worked exclusively in the façade sector, contributing to different stages of façade projects including tendering, technical detailing, preparation of shop and fabrication drawings, and coordination with fabrication and installation teams.

Through his professional experience, he has developed strong expertise in aluminium façade systems and has contributed to projects requiring close coordination between design, engineering, manufacturing, and site execution.

Beni Kohen graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Department of Civil Engineering, in 2004. He also attended a Master’s degree in Production Management and Marketing at Marmara University and completed the Façade Design and Technology Certificate Program at Istanbul Technical University.

He began his career at Fibrobeton as a site manager and later held roles as project manager and engineering group manager, gaining extensive experience in façade engineering and international project coordination. Today he leads business development activities and follows complex GRC and UHPC façade projects worldwide.

Beni is also a member of the company’s executive board and contributes to product development and research and development initiatives. He represents Fibrobeton in international industry platforms, has participated in several GRCA Congresses, and has served as a council member of the GRCA Board since 2015.

Enis Oncuoglu graduated from METU Faculty of Architecture as an architect in 1989 and right after started to work at Oncuoglu Architects founded by Hasan Oncuoglu. In 1996 he assumed the general directorate of the company in 1996 after the founder of the office passed away. Enis Oncuoglu also acts as a jury member in many national and international competitions and participates in conferences such as MAPIC, MIPIM, ProEstate, ARKIPARC to share his experience in architecture and real estate issues. Enis Oncuoglu is also a member of the Board of TMMOB Chamber of Architects, TSMD (Association of Turkish Architects in Private Practice), OMIM (Union of Architects of Architectural Faculty of METU), AMPD (Shopping Centres and Retailers Association), TMMMB (Turkish Consulting Engineers and Architects Association) and ISCS (International Council of Shopping Centres). Oncuoglu is also one of the founders of TSMD Ankara Architecture Centre and Muğla SMD.

Haldun Yilmaz earned his bachelor's degree from Bosphorus University in 1989 and holds a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, along with certifications in Facade Engineering from institutions like İTÜ and CWCT Bath University. He brings 37 years of extensive experience in the Facade Industry. In 2019, he became a member of CIBSE-SFE, received the FSFE title. After 27 years in leadership roles at prominent facade contracting firms in Turkey and internationally, he joined FMT Engineering Co. in 2014. Through this Turkey-based company, he provides International Facade Consulting and Engineering services across 16 countries in America, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. Yilmaz has served on boards and committees of organizations such as Tügiad and Talsad and has held volunteer positions with T.S.E., DEİK, and İBB. Since 1996, he has participated in academic events and lectures as a guest speaker at various universities, contributing articles to numerous publications. He currently serves as the General Manager of FMT Façade Consultants.

Beyza Sarıeyyupoğlu is an Industrial Engineer with over 16 years of experience in the powder coatings industry, supported by a strong background in strategic marketing and brand management. She currently serves as the ECA Regional Specification Manager at Jotun Powder Coatings, representing Jotun across architectural, appliance, automotive, and general industrial projects.

Throughout her career, she has worked closely with global OEMs, architectural firms, applicators, and solution partners by leveraging her deep understanding of regional market dynamics. Her expertise covers specification development, project management, product positioning, and sustainable applications. By combining technical knowledge with strategic insight, she manages the entire value chain — from product performance to market value proposition — in a holistic manner.

With a strong focus on innovation, high-performance solutions, and sustainability, she actively contributes to strengthening technical standards, balancing performance and aesthetics, and ensuring effective communication among all stakeholders. Through her presentations, project collaborations, and consultancy work on behalf of Jotun, she continues to support the wider adoption of powder coating technologies in architectural and industrial applications across the ECA region in a value-driven and forward-looking approach.

Tolga Aycı is working as a Business Development Manager for Tremco CPG which is a global leader of construction chemicals. In this role, value propositions of group brands such as Tremco, illbruck, Nullifire, Dryvit, Flowcrete, Vandex and Nudura that provides sealing, bonding, insulation applications from ground to roof are discussed technically with stakeholders, specifiers, consultants, investors etc. He also ensures the integration of research & development projects into the region.

Tolga Aycı who has approximately 15 years of professional experience in project management, business development, sales, and marketing experiences, graduated from Yıldız Technical University, Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering department with honor degree. Also, he took graduation lectures from Bosphorus University, Industrial Engineering department. In 2025, he completed Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Istanbul Technical University, Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering department with the thesis about fire safety and fire protection systems.

Gokhan Avcioglu, the Principal and founder of GAD - Global Architectural Development, has led an innovative design team for over four decades. Together, they've crafted dynamic and visionary architectural concepts, spanning from intimate residences to expansive urban master plans, both in Turkey and worldwide. Under Mr. Avcıoğlu's visionary leadership, the diverse international creative team at GAD consistently takes an unconventional approach to create projects that not only push design boundaries but also reshape architectural thought.Avcioglu is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) New York Chapter, the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), the Chamber of Architects of Turkey (TMMOB), Turkish Tourism Investors Association (TTYD), Ephesus Foundation (in collabration with Austrian Archeological Institue (OAW), Association of Turkish Independent Architects (TSMD) and GYODER. Ibrahim Ayaz is the Founder of NRVN Facade, an Istanbul-based consultancy specializing in advanced facade engineering and computational design. Since establishing the firm in 2021, Ibrahim has moved beyond traditional methodologies by integrating custom software solutions and parametric tools, such as Rhino and Grasshopper, directly into the facade workflow.

He has successfully led the facade engineering for complex, high-profile international projects, including the Red Sea International Airport in Saudi Arabia, Vallhal in Norway, Karbala International Airport in Iraq and many more. Passionate about bridging the gap between architectural vision and fabrication precision, Ibrahim leads a team dedicated to innovation in BIM, 3D modeling, and next- generation building envelope technologies.

During the first decade of her professional career, she worked on the design and implementation of educational, tourism, office, and residential buildings at various architectural and construction firms in Ankara.

After moving to Istanbul, she delved into the world of light and glass, significantly contributing to architecture through marketing and brand management within Şişecam's Flat Glass group. While managing the Isıcam franchise system, she also provided glass consultancy for architectural projects in Turkey and internationally, focusing on innovative façade designs.

Currently, as the founder of Solo Design and Consultancy, she is dedicated to passive building design and innovative façade solutions that contribute to a greener, more livable world. Leveraging her expertise in integrating advanced glass technologies into sustainable architectural designs, she aims to create value and elevate industry standards by leading projects that utilize artificial intelligence in the construction materials sector to improve efficiency in production.

Additionaly, through her weekly radio program and podcast series titled "What’s Left Until 2053?", she collaborates with experts to raise awareness on sustainability and climate change, with a particular focus on energy efficiency through passive building design and best practices. After his studies Buğrahan Şirin worked in Turkey, Germany, Russia, and the Netherlands with direct involvement in planning and construction of large-scale urban design and high-rise projects. In 2007 Şirin joined HPP realizing national and international projects of various types and scales. He is currently managing the Istanbul office of HPP. In 2018 he was initially appointed Associate Partner and in 2022 Partner of HPP International Turkey.

Bülent Özgül graduated from Middle East Technical University (METU), Department of Industrial Engineering, and holds a Master’s degree in the same field. His graduate thesis focused on “System Dynamics,” an approach that shaped the long-term strategic thinking behind Metal Yapı’s foundation and growth.

He began his career in academia as a faculty member at METU before transitioning into industry. As a founding partner of Metal Yapı, he has served as CEO for 43 years.

Ilayda Oner Mermerbas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Bogazici University, and a Master’s degree in Construction Management from Columbia University with over 10 years of industry experience. She is the President of IPYD (Istanbul Project Management Institute) and a board member of BuildingSMART Türkiye. Additionally, she is the Regional Representative for Türkiye and Advisory Board Member of Council of Vertical Urbanism (CVU, formerly Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat-CTBUH) since 2017.

Demet Sürücü received her Bachelor’s (2001) and Master’s (2005) degrees in Forest Industrial Engineering from Istanbul University. Her work focuses on timber construction, traditional wooden architecture, structural restoration, and craftsmanship-based education.

In 2008, she was invited by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality to establish a workshop dedicated to traditional timber construction techniques. As Coordinator of the IMM KUDEB Timber Training Workshop (2008–2020), she led conservation and restoration projects on historic timber buildings, particularly in Istanbul’s Historic Peninsula, while providing hands-on training to thousands of trainees.

She joined Bahçeşehir University in 2021 as a Senior Specialist. In 2024, she conceived and led the establishment of the BAU Timber Construction Application and Research Center, where she serves as Founding Director. Her work bridges traditional knowledge and contemporary sustainable design, contributing to the advancement of timber architecture in Türkiye.

M. Vedat Sancakdar graduated from Istanbul Technical University with a degree in Metallurgical Engineering and holds 35 years of industry experience in aluminum alloys, extrusion processes, architectural system development and surface treatments. After 11 years at Feniş Aluminum, he has been working at ASAŞ Aluminum for over 24 years. Sancakdar spent 15 of those years as Factory Plant Director, overseeing operations and production management, and currently serves as the Director of Design and System Development regarding Aluminium Architectural Systems. In this role, he leads the development of architectural system platforms, test and training center projects, as well as standards and innovation processes within the aluminum industry.

He also holds several industry-related responsibilities, serving as a Board Member of AYID Surface Treatment Association, an Audit Committee Member of TALSAD, the Leader of the TALSAD Technical Committee and an ISO expertise. As an industry expert, he provides technical assessments on aluminum alloys, extrusion technology, aluminum surface treatments, and architectural system standards and he regularly delivers seminars at universities and industry events.

Naz Fenercioğlu studied industrial engineering in Turkey and began her early career in her home country. She later continued her studies in Milan, Italy, where she completed a master’s degree in international marketing at Politecnico di Milano. In 2021, she joined Technoform Glass Insulations Italy, based in Milan, as responsible for the Turkish, Balkans and Iberian markets. Technoform, headquartered in Germany, has been a global leader for over five decades in providing thermal insulation solutions for windows, doors, and façade systems, with more than 55 sites worldwide and over 1,500 employees. Naz supports customers by offering technical insight and tailored solutions to meet market needs.

He was born in 1979 in Ankara and has held various positions in the façade industry for nearly 25 years. After completing his education in Ankara, he conducted research on various façade products while working on his master’s thesis titled “Technical Applications in Landscape Areas.

He began his professional career at ANKER Façade Application Construction Inc., a company specializing in mechanical façade systems, as a “Technical Supervisor for Façade Applications.” In 2007, he joined Kaleseramik Inc. as a “Senior Technical Applications Sales Specialist.” During this period, he played an active role in the façade applications and sales of Kalebodur’ s large-format thin porcelain ceramic products. He also took part in projects that introduced innovative and alternative façade systems for Kalebodur.

He currently serves as the “Technical Applications Sales Manager” at Kaleseramik Inc. In his presentation, he provides information on the key features of Kalebodur products in façade applications, the standard façade systems in which the products are used, and the alternative application system KSF-FS25 developed by Kaleseramik Inc.

Award-winning architect Öznur Çakır Aydoğan holds a Master of Architecture degree in "Computational Technologies in Architectural Design" from Istanbul Technical University (ITU), where she graduated with her thesis on an interactive sound-responsive kinetic façade module titled "Sound Shield." Between 2004–2005, she worked at Teğet Architecture, and from 2005–2010 at Tabanlıoğlu Architecture,where she led the design and contributed to the construction documentation of numerous national and international projects, including shopping centers, office buildings, high-rise towers, residences, and hotels.

In 2005, she collaborated with the Norman Foster & Partners team on the Palace of Peace project in Astana, Kazakhstan, while at Tabanlıoğlu Architecture. In 2010, she founded OCADO Architecture in İzmir. Since its establishment, the firm has received numerous national and international awards, including the 2019 ISBS International Sustainable Buildings Symposium Competition, the International Property Awards, the Sign of the City Awards, the Ministry of Industry and Technology Productivity Project Competition, and the 2023 Teknofest Environment, Energy and Climate Technologies Awards. "Sound Shield." project was granted an Examined Invention Patent by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office in 2022, and subsequently by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in 2024. Her second kinetic façade project, "Fan Morph,& quot; developed in response to climatic data, was granted an Examined Invention Patent by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office in 2026.
